Linda Yoshizawa's artwork reflects the mixing of two cultural sensibilities - American and Japanese.  Her nature-inspired drawings are used as symbols of our own struggles and yearnings.  Colors, values, and textures are created to elicit moods, questions, and a sense of serenity.

Using an innovative approach to printmaking, the artist produces one-of-a-kind monotype prints on an etching press, which are then cut and collaged together.  Her process requires that she draw a new image for each impression, thus every print is original.
